When you are not re-encoding a particular titleset and you are not stripping a stream (for example, the VTS containing the main movie is at 100% and you're just encoding the extras), it would be much quicker just to copy the whole VTS to DVDFILES, rather than going through the demux/remux.
Is this possible in 1.10.2 (am I mssing a setting somewhere)? Or can it be implemented?

I can look at it. The problem is that now the decision to reencode is done on a per segment basis. The only way I could make that happen is if I can somehow predetermine that every segment in the VTS is going to pass the test.
It should be feasible, and its a really good idea -- but I'll have to study it first before I commit in case I'm missing something. But a shoot-from-the-hip guess is that it's likely for a future version.

Thanks! I hope that if after the Preview screen edits are saved, it might not hard to check that every segment is marked as "No Re-encode".

The downside is that you can't remove any audio streams without remuxing (at least not easily)... and sometimes that's what makes it fit.

Agreed - but it is a real good solution for those who don't wish to remove streams (or have already done this) or where there's only 1 stream anyway.
