Hello everyone,

I am having a problem when DVD Decrypter starts. I get an error message saying:

DeviceIoControl(IOCTL_STORAGE_MCN_CONTROL)Failed!
Device:[1:1:0]PLEXTOR DVDR px-716a 1.09 (D:) (ATA)
Unable to disable media change notification.
Reason: The parameter is incorrect.

The problem doesn't effect the performance of the software it's just really annoying. I can still rip a DVD w/o any problems but I get tired of hitting "ignore" or "cancel"

I think it started when I tried to change firmware but it was still there even after I changed it back. I've checked all the FAQ's but couldn't find a resolve. Can someone please help me.

I am running windows xp pro sp2 with all latest patches and drivers. 2 gb ram, 3.6 GHz intel p4 w/HT, asus p5wd2 premium mobo.

Try Tools -> Settings -> Device -> uncheck Disable Media Change Notification -> OK.
