AutoGK/filters
Avisynth/plugins
Now if you ask this question there are chances that something will get screwed up...
Safe mode-> stay with what comes with the package
Unsafe mode-> at your own risk
If the question is where can I find the new colormatrix.dll, :search:

I don't know for sure, but might worry that AutoGK's Hidden Options "Force IVTC...when hybrid" and "Force deinterlacing...when hybrid" might be affected by DGindex' new % VIDEO and % FILM features.
At least those changes merit some testing if you use those options, which I found I had to use for some OTA transport stream conversions.

It was just a thought. I love what I get, but was wondering if anyone had done any updates them selves and if so what issue did or might come up. At his point I don't know if it'll make any difference, but I may try some short clips and see what I get. I can always go back.
btw...I meant, where did you locate the "new" ColorMatrix.dll.
Thanks.

Where did you locate the new ColorMatrix.dll? I'm still using the one that came bundled with AGK 2.27

I'm not sure i understand the question...
If it is where do I put the colormatrix.dll, already answered here:
AutoGK/filters
Avisynth/plugins
Which means for drive C being the windows-install hard drive or partition: "C/Programs files/Avisynth/plugins", same for AutoGK.
If the question is where can I download the newer dll, a search here would give you this thread: http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=113380&highlight=colormatrix
leading to this thread: http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=82217
giving this link to download: http://www.geocities.com/wilbertdijkhof/ColorMatrix_v110.zip

Thanks BigDid. The questions was for the new one and where to download it from. I had searched and not been able to locate the new version (I may not have realized which was the newer version) but either way, thanks for the link.

Hi everyone :)
- what's wrong with 1.10 version of colormatrix.dll that is supplied with 2.27?
- what are the "DGindex' new % VIDEO and % FILM features" ?

len0x - I'm not sure there is. It looks like the same version from the above link. I'm running a full movie through right now and if there isn't anything wrong with it, I won't bother to update the ColorMatrix.dll. I haven't had any color issues with 2.27, it works great. The only issue I have had a various times is with some SONY discs which all but one I have been able to clean enough not to throw the audio out of synch. Just because you can rip it and shrink it, doesn't mean it is completely clean. My test is if I can run it through Auto GK. That's what started me thinking about updating 2.27 with DGIndex and VDubMod versions ...if it works great, if not a can revert back.
btw...Thanks very much for AGK. I use for everything. It is a great program. You did a great job with it.
Thanks for all your efforts.

what are the "DGindex' new % VIDEO and % FILM features" ?AFAIK the .d2v file output by DGindex used to show (at the end) a %, which described FILM content. Now the % will be displayed in whichever format is >50% i.e. what used to be 45% (meaning 45% FILM) is now 55% VIDEO. If I got this wrong neuron2 will correct me I'm sure.
I don't know if AGK looks at/uses this pct but if it does then it could be making a wrong assumption about it (as has become the case with StaxRip which I found the hard way!).

Specific percentage is not important (autogk uses its own analysis), however it looks for high percentage to check if analysis is at all needed as it may be pure FILM.

...it looks for high percentage to check if analysis is at all needed as it may be pure FILM.Does AGK look at THE NUMBER ONLY? So it interprets "100% VIDEO" then as pure FILM?
Of course, none of this is an issue unless a user tinkers w/the AGK installation, since it incorporates 1.4.6 IIRC, right in its Program Files folder.

Hi,
Nothing wrong with the 1.10, just stated I had problems, so I believe I messed up the AGK folder or did not upgrade completely. The link given is the same 1.10.
For DG Index I can only suppose everybody is trying
a. new things
b. the quest for no audio delay :D
Thanks for the answer is the disable-resize thread.
