FYI...I found a nice player (Toshiba SD-3990) at a great price ($58.99 usd) that'll play my AVI with XviD movies very well. The box doesn't say that it'll play them but on line they stated that it would play MP4, and AVI along with DivX, but o reference to XviD. So I gave it a shot and then went back for a second one. Great price, good features, and great picture. We'll see if it stands the test of time.
