I'm sorry, you mean that you want to convert to xvid the backup copy of another dvd?
Why not simply converting from the original?
If the problem is simply "how to convert from dvd to xvid?" then I suggest you to use the "search" function :)

PS: I don't think that "Decrypting" is the right place for this.

Read up before asking! There are tons of guides (http://www.doom9.org/guides.htm)

That is the first rule in the list of forum rules! Give the guides a go. If you have any problems, search the forums for similar problems and if you're still struggling, then is the time to make a post.

There are lots of guides, lots of rules, lots of stickies and lots of info posted by lots of people here at Doom9 - it's a lot to take on but that's why there's the delay before you're allowed to post. It gives you some time to take it all in.

Because i don't have the dvd anymore. I tried a few programs. Now i use xmpeg 5 but i get 'out of sync' problems...
