Packet Statistics - delay, jitter, packet loss

Hi,

I need to run performance test on my streaming server and i am looking for client players (linux) that can provide packet statistics information such as jitter, delay and packet losses. I've extensively searched the documentation of VLC and mplayer but couldn't find support for this information. Does anyone know a linux based media player client that can give such packet statistics that show the quality of the stream?
