Tell us more about the AVI. What is it and how did you make it?

I created it with Autodesk Architectural Destop with sound. The avi file plays great on the computer, and when I converted it, so I can give to clients, the disk plays great on the computer, but when put into my DVD I get that error. Oh by the way I think that I multi posted this, I'm sorry.

What did you burn the DVD on, a DVD-RW, DVD+RW, DVD-R, or DVD+R? Not all players can handle all of these. What is your player type and model no? Have you tried it on some other players?

I asked for the model number so I could look it up and see what it can play. Did you do that?
What brand of disk did you use?

You know, I burned other material and it plays just fine on both DVD players and I was using DVD+R media and all have been Memorex. But as far as the actual burner, it is a HP Lightscribe DVD +/- Writter/CD Writter. Is this what you were asking for or the players model number?

In addition to the player's type and model number, if you have DVD Decrypter installed load a blank disk into the drive, open DVD Decrypter, select the drive, click Mode > ISO > Read. Check the information listed as "Disk ID" and enter it here.

The player is the thing over by the TV set in which you put your burned or original DVDs to play them.
Many reports I've found say your Memorex (specifically Ritek R03) is unreliable.

I checked at http://www.videohelp.com/dvdplayers for your players - the Magnavox doesn't show to be able to play DVD+R. The Sony appears to have no issue with many media types including what you've listed, so it's very likely a burning issue. If you can play the same media burned on a different burner, more than likely your burner is failing or needs to be cleaned. You might also try burning at a lower speed - in general you should never exceed half the rated burn speed of either the burner or media, whichever is slower.

I finally found out that it was the way AVI2DVD preformed, that was giving me the problem. I used some software that I didn't even know that I had and it worked great. The new software is InterVideo WinDVD Creator. Thanks everyone for your input, this thread is now closed.
