Hi all!
I am writing an Ipod Conversion Guide on MeGUIWiki. Just thought I would let you guys know. Thoughts, questions, suggestions, feedback are all welcome! Feel free to contribute.

One thing to add to your Wiki is the resolutions. In the AviSynth Script Creator, you'd want to resize to 320x240 (max resolution for AVC) or 480x480 (max resolution for XviD).

Edit: er, those are the max resolutions, so anything under them would be ok. 480x480 just sounds weird... I got this info from http://www.apple.com/ipod/specs.html

Ahh, take care that the ipod ony supports MPEG-4 SP (not ASP), so don't use b frames etcetc

also, I had already kind of mentioned about the b frames in the walkthrough, but not right off. This has also been added to the basic info.

Looking good. The only quibble I have is that you should copy over the pages you link on the basic guide to your own guide area. Otherwise people might get lost in the navigation of the guide and end up walking through the basic guide :). If you don't want to do this putting a big warning text next to all 'external' links would be fine as well.

i'm not going to any another software to convert my videos to my ipod

i like the megui

then i try to do it with the x264 and it works but when i put it in itunes convert to m4v. with low resolution for the pic meny squres in black screen,

so i need to do it with xvid

what shall i do
give me steps and guides pls

Uh, the guide I wrote (in my sig) should work fine. Make sure your iTunes is up to date and follow the steps closely.

after mux sound is very well but the picture is so bad

What kind of source are you using? And what does your Avisynth script look like?
