Malmen: The same thing happens 2 me with it stalling..seems 2 happen in the bbmpeg process never has happened in any of the other realeases ...so what i ended up doing was go back 2 the 1.0.4 build 2 and now i have no problems with stalling..

I should of put my version of windows last post and more detail on where the program likes 2 stall at..so here goes
Windows XP Pro American Build the stalls only happen after the message boxes pop up so sometimes it will stall when the CCE message pops up or when the BBMPEg message pops up ..also chapters dont work at all no matter what i select ......so i just kept the 1.0.5 files installed and took 1.0.4 build 2.exe and copied it over the 1.0.5.exe now chapters work again dosent hang ...ect hope this helps

Exactly the same for me... WinXP Pro German.
DVD2SVCD stalls when opening .ecl file in CCE and after BBMPEG muxing process has been finished. Crash recovery does sometimes work, but sometimes you get the same results.

Could you make a screendump of it when it stalls and mail it to me.

i think the best would be to remove the warning window completely, it serves no purpose. everyone should know that it's unwise to touch the computer when dvd2svcd is running ??

Of course it has a GREAT pourpose. You will need to avoid the use of your computer ONLY while the warning apears, instead of along the whole process.

Well i downloaded and updated dvd2svcd from 1.0.4.exe with the full dvdsvcd 1.0.5 build 2 and the same thing happens...either at cce or bbmp it hangs...this log file i'm about 2 post is when it stopped right after the menu popped up not 2 touch the computer ect right before it loads the ecl file....
oh another thing i noticed also the ripping speed when using the internal ripp is way off...previous versions were right...

Okay, i made 1 pass and cce stopped. i decreased my bit rate and went for a single pass and it seemed to work. this morning before i left for work, i reset cce for 4 passes. curious to see if it goes the full amount.
I do have a stupid question......so what file do i burn?? *.bin, *.cue, or the mpg file??:)
