I just bought a LitOn DVD recorder (LVW-1107HC1) that will play AVIs (Xvid) and the player recorders very well, has a great TV tuner, but my AVIs come out blocky on it. These same movies look great when played on a 42" plasma through the VGA / PC input. I have been told that some players will do that while others won't ...what is the reason? Is there a process that some will do that others won't ...like interlacing the AVI or something?
