I just finished encoding Leroy and Stitch and got a size of 4.09 gb, the org size is 7.21 GB... I'm using DVD-RB pro 1.10.2 and CCE Basic.... I redid the movie with HC .18 and got the same size, tried again with CCE SP 2.50 3-passes...same size. Redid the movie 1 last time with CCE Basic but turned off menu encoding and got a size of 4.31 gb.
It looks like the menu is not with the main movie as in most discs.
Has any one else tried this disc and got similar results.

Any chance it could be encoder saturation? Are you doing a full encode, movie only?
I'm working away from my office for a few more days -- this modem connection business makes answering harder...

full encode... I did 1 encoding with 25% off extra's and half D1 and then the others with nothing off extra's and turned off half D! and got the same 4.09 gb
EDIT: Any chance it could be encoder saturation?
I'll check.... while is CCE was going I didn't see anything to low.... 3-5 for I,P and B
but then what would it not undersize if you turn off menu encoding

@Fishman0919
Hi!
"Leroy & Stitch" contains 2 HUGE dummy .VOBs, totalling almost 2 Gigs! (One is the "VIDEO_TS.VOB". I've forgotten which is the other one). As I recall, after elimination of these two .VOBs, the size of the FULL DVD was less than a full DVD5.
Is it possible that your ripping method has eliminated these two detritus .VOBs?

Well I used RipIt4Me Version 1.4.0.0 with FixVTS 1.4 and DVD Decrypter 3.5.4.0 and also I tried AnyDVD 6.0.3.1... both rips look about the same, both end up with the same result 4.09 gb when enable menu encoding is selected... if I unselect menu encoding the size ends up at 4.31-4.33 gb depending on the encoder
the two fakes are, VIDEO_TS.VOB=897,974 kb
and VTS_01_0.VOB=538,560 kb
EDIT: ripped folder size is 7.21 gb

update: I found another DVD with a huge dummy VOB, GLORY_ROAD, and with menu encode enabled same thing... 4.06 gb. If I turn off menu encode 4.32 gb
EDIT: sorry this movie really doesn't have a dummy VOB, just 1 segment at the end of the menu "W01002000019001.AVS" that is 20 min long and is blank
