Hi,
I want to author a DVD with a movie in two languages
(German and Hungarian). However the starting sequence
and the credits are different for both languages.
This yields to "Seamless branching".
My overall strategy is ready. First I author a DVD
with two PCGs each with the whole movie, one with
German start and end, one with Hungarian. Then I
cut them with DvdRemake Pro into German start,
Hungarian start, main movie, German end, Hungarian end.
I put those pieces into one PGC1 of my new DVD.
To actually watch the movies I create two new PGCs
(PGC2+PGC3) which completely reuse the corresponding
cells of PGC1.
So far, so good. The transitions play seamless.
Except one transition, where I hear a short loud
noise (chirping). Playing the VOB file alone
(without IFO) I actually hear that chirping at two
transition positions.
If I exctract the cells (with VobBlanker f.e.)
there is no such chirping nor in the base material.
It seems the problem arises from DvdRemake Pro.
However here I don't see any chance to fix it.
My idea would be to demux the VOB file containing
PGC1, remove the chirping in the audio files and
remux the whole thing afterwards.
Now the question is which program will be able to
do such a thing, in a manner that the remuxed
VOB file is compatible with the old IFO file.
As far as I can see there must be an appropriate
padding stream being included. Can MuxMan do so?
(I never used it yet.)
