I cannot install videolinux using vmware, coz videolinux seems to lack SCSI modules so I have no HDD avalible for installation. Could the modules be added to the next livecd? thanks!
also, is 3D acceleration auto detected and auto enabled?

VideoLinux is normally a LiveCD. It is in the Alpha state. To try it out use the LiveCD mode. Only on installing it I sugqest you a backup your files first ;)

vmware will emulate IDE drives as well as scsi drives.
I doubt that you will get 3d acceleration via vmware.
