I've yet to find out how to add a subtitle import ( in *.son bitmap format ) consisting of several joined subtitle files ( converted from vobsub ), to a dvd maestro 2.9 project, consisting of several video episodes corresponding to the subtitles. Whenever I try it, only the subtitles for the first episode get imported. I've read all other forum posts regarding subtitle importing with dvd maestro, but they have been no help. Needless to say all subtitle timings are correct. Can you help me ?
Thanks.

How did you join the subs?
Did you rip the subtitles in .son format,
or did you rip these subs to a text format (.srt) and converted them to .son?
I usually combine the subs in .srt format in subtitle workshop and than convert them with maestro sbt.

If your subtitles comes in a .SUB/.IDX format (like VobSub) you can join them with VobSub Joiner. Select the first sub, the second and the timecode where the second subs start. You can use this method also if you have 3 or more subs files. At the end you can use SubResync to export all the subs in a .son + .spf + .BMPs

You should place an image file in your movie timeline, stretch this image at least to the lenght of all movies and import your son file. Then replace the image with your movie assets.

But... In Maestro do you have 5 "movies" (so 5 different VTS at the end) with 5 different subs (1 for each episode) or do you have 1 single movie with the 5 episodes and 5 subs?
Maestro "read" the timecode from the MPEG2 so, for example, if the subs of episode 1 starts at 00:00:00:00 but the mpeg2 start at 01:00:00:00 then no subs will be imported into Maestro (only the subs that exceeds 01 hour). So you can reset the timecode of the MPEG2 with ReStream or similar to the same timestart of the subs.
