Hello!
I'm making an online database of all VirtualDub filters available in the Net. Hope it will be more convenient than googling around for good filters.
112 filters already in DB. Everyone is invited to add more filters and edit existing ones' info!

A categorisation of the filters would be an added value, e.g. Denoisers, Deinterlacers, Darkroom filters, etc. I'd appreciate a short description of what each filter does, too. :)

@Dmitry
You are violating the GPL in many cases by not offering the source code. Please correct this situation. I request you to remove links to my tools if you do not comply with GPL. Thank you.
Perhaps you could add a second column with links to the source code or the author's web page.
Your efforts are useful and appreciated but licensing conditions should be respected.

There ARE descriptions of each filter and links to pages.
Just click on any filter title to see.
Or go here:

I'm not violating GPL by providing descriptions of filters.
If you mean VDFilter, let's discuss it in proper thread.

Didn't see that. Thanks for pointing it out. It would help if your note at the top mentioned source code.

You mean adding a link to the source code for each filter?
OK, I'll do that in nearest future.

I just meant at the top you could say, "do such and such for source code and other details".
Thank you for assembling this valuable resource.

At the top there was: "Click on a filter name to see description and other details."
Now changed to: "Click on a filter name to see description, a link to filter's page (where you can find its source code) and other details."
Is that OK?

That's perfect, Dmitry.
And once again, thank you for creating this resource. I have linked it prominently at my filter links listing at my site:

I also announced it on a blog entry on my home page:

great resource! only thing that could improve it would be a current version number and update date for each filter...that'd be a huge amount of maintainence though.
i've noticed a couple of filters on the list i hadnt seen before.
