So before anyone says anything about going and searching online about this topic, I have already done this. Nothing i have seen seems to cover this topic the way i need it. What I was wondering is how to do this with DVD's and retain everything including menu's and subtitles. To my understanding that means that i would need to resize the picture to 720 x 480 in AviSynth and then after encoding it send it threw DGPulldown to change the framerate. I am also under the assumption that i can just check it in NuMenu4u to convert the menus, so thats not the problem. And to include the subs, I believe i just have to adjust the timing by multiplying it by 1.somthing (i forgot what the exact number was, but i assume its 29.97 / 25). If i am wrong in any of this please let me know, but if that all seems right, i was just wondering how exactly it is that i would get all of this to fit into the whole Big 3 process.

There is actually quite a bit involved in converting from one type to another.

with the change in framerates, you also need to adjust all the chapter locations and timing of the subs from 25fps to 29.97fps

the video will need to be reencoded at the proper framerate and size and the audio will need to be re-encoded for proper framerate.

Zeul and I had talked about encorporating format conversion into Scenaid but it would require you to re-encode EVERYTHING on your DVD, all menus, all extras, all VTS sets in order for it to work properly which is something that as of today, scenaid has no control over

Because the forum software treats a search as a session, identifying all the search parameters with a "searchid" which is valid for the originator of the search only. Very frustrating when trying to pass on search results to another user.

Well thanks for searching jel but the links didn't help as much as i was hoping for. The first one was someone asking the same thing and a broken search link on this forum. the second one was about software problems, and the third was just talking about how to convert the subs easier which later on may come in handy. D3s7, I am a little confused about what you mean though, you said scenaid has no control over it, does that mean that it can't be done or that its not very easy? And if it can be done, I was just wondering how to do it. Do I need to downsize the whole DVD to fit on a DVD rather than a DVD-9 first and then go back and reencode everything to 29.97 fps or am i able to go about doing this while going threw the BIG 3 steps and if so how?
