problems converting xvid to dvdr

Hi. I used the guide on doom9 to convert some xvid files to dvdr. Something is wrong with my settings, because the output mpeg2 is jittery. THe audio is way off sync with the video. I don't know what to do.

If anyone can help me I'd really appreciate it.

Why not provide the reader with some specifics so they can help you ? Screen capture the output of Gspot or similar AVI file analyser. Capture your settings screen from CCE. Post both.

maybe your audio is vbr ...

or maybe the source is PAL and your equipment is NTSC or vice versa?
