Hi all,

I have authored a musical DVD with DVDMaestro.
Because many reason, the synchronisation is made by hand (:()

If I have well understand how DVDMaestro work, he generate a DVD folder (the compilation phase), and then he write the file on DLTs.

So normally, if I read the compiled file with WINDvd It should be representative of the finale result. (Perhaps is my error here?)

My problem is that the synchronisation is right on the compiled file (read with WinDVD) but the final glass master (also read with WinDVD), generated with the DLTs is not synchronised. I get a 1/4 frame's lag. This lag, of course, appears also on any DVD player we test.

Does any one have idea?

Hi!synchronisation is made by handfinal glass master (also read with WinDVD), generated with the DLTs is not synchronised. I get a 1/4 frame's lag.Without trying to understand what is causing the desynchronization, since you seem to know the exact time differential, I'd simply suggest that you initially adjust the synch by the amount of time of the "1/4 frame's lag" BEFORE creating the glass master (or burning a sample DVD)...

The problem is that I have made test before sending the DLT's.
The synchronisation is right at this momment. The "1/4 frames's lag" is an aproximation, it's hard to evaluate this exactly.
THis lag is on the glassmaster, but not on the DVD test.
