1st of all, sorry for my english :scared:

My problem is that I can't use the Nero AAC encoding dlls with besweet. It's very strange because seems that besweet can't recognize them, and uses lame instead.

When I try to encode a normal wav (44100Hz, 16bit, stereo) choosing AAC Nero Digital, Stereo, VBR quality normal, the logfile shows this:

BeSweet v1.4 by DSPguru.
--------------------------
Using lame_enc.dll v1.32 (22/12/2005), Engine 3.97 <http://www.mp3dev.org/>.

Logging start : 07/03/06 , 11:19:02.

BeSweet.exe -core( -input D:\desktop\track.wav -output D:\desktop\track.mp4 -logfile D:\desktop\track.log ) -bsn( -2ch -vbr_normal )

[00:00:00:000] +------- BeSweet -----
[00:00:00:000] | Input : D:\desktop\track.wav
[00:00:00:000] | Output: D:\desktop\track.mp4
[00:00:00:000] | Floating-Point Process: Yes
[00:00:00:000] | Source Sample-Rate: 44.1KHz
[00:00:00:000] +-------- LAME -------
[00:00:00:000] | Bitrate method : CBR
[00:00:00:000] | MP3 bitrate : 128
[00:00:00:000] | Channels Mode : Joint Stereo
[00:00:00:000] | Error Protection: No
[00:00:00:000] +---------------------
[00:04:21:994] Conversion Completed !
[00:04:21:994] Actual Avg. Bitrate : 128kbps
[00:00:43:000] <-- Transcoding Duration
Logging ends : 07/03/06 , 11:19:45.

Note: The output file has .mp4 extension, but it's a standard mp3

When I try to encode a 5.1ch AC3 to (AAC 5.1 VBR normal, HE, quality fast), besweet does the same thing, but with an "infinite loop", it starts transcoding the AC3 to mp3 128kbps CBR joint stereo, and when finished, it starts again from the beginning infinite times.

I'm using:
-Besweet 1.4
-Belight 0.2.2.0b9
-aac.dll 2.5.9.991
-aacenc32.dll 3.2.0.24

Replace BeSweet 1.4 by 1.5b31 and bsn.dll by the last one (http://kurtnoise.free.fr/BeLight/bsn_20060523.zip). Then, try again...

Next time :search:
