I just want to say that this version is running smooth for me. Just wish I could find that option for the 32k padding. Other than that it's fine.

So you're saying that all I have to do is enter "Enable_32K_Padding=1" in the ini file? Duh! Why didn't I see that before? I read that post. It was right in front of me.
Thanks Jazzman!

Just a warning, though, there are some packages that don't know what to do with 32k padding when they see it. That's why its a hidden option.

Understood.

Is that for when the DVD files are being made? Or turned into an ISO?

When they are made. The IFO files contain sector offsets -- they have to point to the correct sector. But it is only done if "Output to ISO File" is checked -- and then ONLY if the 32k spacing is needed.
If you are burning with a package that isn't using the ISO you should leave ENABLE_32K_PADDING off and let the appropriate package make any necessary padding adjustments.

Ah thanks for that jdobbs. I always let PGCedit to do that for me anyway. Was good to know.

If, say I wanna make a copy of an already authored DVD which is burned with ImgBurn, 32k padding was enabled, would burning with Nero consider 'safe' ? Since Nero makes disc image before burning it(except when doing On The Fly copying), how would it treat the 32k gaps?
Cheers

From what I know unless you change something (vob blank something etc) it will remain safe. But why use Nero when you can use PGCedit to create the ISO, set the 32k padding and then burn it with ImgBurn.

Once the data is on a disc it is just like any other DVD. I'm, of course, assuming that Nero knows how to handle gaps in a source disc.
