I am trying to encode an ac3 to mp3.

I do that with BeSweet.

But the problem is that the ac3 is 1:15:23 long and mp3 is just 0:18:45.

I used Besplit to fix the file but it stops checking it at that time.

Is there any other way to fix the ac3?

Thanks.

Try AC3fix (http://www.free-codecs.com/download_soft.php?d=559&s=320).

Delaycut could help, depending on problem or source: http://jsoto.posunplugged.com/audiotools.htm

Can AC3Fix do this?

Nope, I continue getting a 0:18:45 mp3 file.
Don't know what else to try :(

What does your BeSweet logfile say? Can you post it here?

Here (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=98689&highlight=Illegal+symmetric+7-level+value+%3D7) Someone said to transcode to wav first. I will check that.

@Macarse

Hi!

Can you successfully play the .AC3 file, from start to finish, without any glitches?

It worked out. When something like this shows up, just transcode to wav and then to mp3.

setarip_old: I didn't try... I play it and I can get to the end. But I didn't listen to the whole file.

Problem solved :D
