View Full Version : v1.10 Upgrade: How Install It?

Hi,
I just got the email for upgrading to v1.10. I ran the upgrade rather than full version and Windows XP extracted the files to the Temporary Internet Files folder.

What is the next step? There is a file named Rebuilder.exe and Reg-RB.exe. Click the first one then the next? Also, there are some files like DGDecode.dll and MSCOMCTL.OCX and others. What should I do with them? Should I manually copy them into the RB folder? There are some files in there already with the same name.

There is also a folder named QuEnc. What do I do with that, if anything?

Thanks,
TomBk

Copy and paste them all into your main DVD-Rebuilder folder with the exception of QuEnc. Go into your encoders folder and drop that into the right one.

just replace the extracted files from the archive to your DVD-RB Pro installation path, that's all.
the updated QuEnc version is only needed if you plan to use it (or used it already).

edit: linx05 was faster.

I highly recommend you use the fully installable version instead of the ZIP file. If you want to save your settings, just say "No" when prompted whether to overwrite your INI file.

The ZIP file is not intended to be used except for those with limited download speeds. But since the QuEnc upgrade was also included in this one -- it's not as small as usual anyway.

Hi,
I just used the full version upgrade and the issue went away. No unzipping was required. Thanks.
