Version 1.10.1 complaint about AviSynth

I've been using 1.09.3 successfully with latest released Avisynth 2.5.6 for many months now. The new version says "Avisynth not installed" and apparently wants to install an older version (2.5.5) before proceeding.

This is a PIA cuz I will have to re-install Avisynth again if I want to continue running 2.5.6!? I guess that is what I will do but I find this rather odd that the installer doesn't see I have Avisynth installed already.

That's odd. The installer hasn't changed in that respect at all. But, just to be sure I need to note that DVD-RB is only certified (completely tested) to run with v2.5.5. It has been reported to work with 2.5.6 -- but that isn't the preferred version.

Yeah it's never complained for me like this either.

Anyway, turns out it wasn't much of a PIA at all to install 2.5.6 again. No problem.

I understand your position in re: 2.5.5 of course. But 1.09.3 and 2.5.6 have always worked perfectly for me so I've had no occasion to take care w/any bug reports!
