Hello everyone. I used to use DVD Rebuilder and had everything working just fine.
I decided to upgrade to a newer version (I've actually tried 2-3 different ones) and after I get everything setup, as soon as I click "Backup" (I have "One Click Mode" activated) DVD Rebuilder just closes itself. I have tried it on two different computers and like I said different versions of the program. I have tried different DVDs as well. I am trying to use CCE 2.70. I have also tried doing it with other compression methods. However with everything I've tried, I'm getting the same result.
The log file it creates only says:
"One Click encoding activated...

Anyone know what's going on?

You've apparently run into a badly patched cracked version. That is exactly the symptoms that happen...

Really? A buddy of mine burned it and gave it to me. Wonder why it worked for him? Oh well cause about 5 mins ago I just tried out the the free 0.97 version (I visited the official site this time) and am using it right now and it's working just fine. Must've been what I used before cause it does look the same. Anyhoo thanks for the response, guess I know what's up now.
EDIT: Wow I just noticed from looking at the DVD-RB site who you are (I was wondering why in other threads people were calling you master and stuff ^_^). Thanks for the sweet prog!

maybe in future releases you should have some message pop up when RB detects that it's been compromised. then we'd stop getting the occasional idiotic post on the board. on the other hand, the posts do provide some comic relief.

It was just an honest n00b question. I tried searching around the forum and on google for a while and couldn't get any keywords to match up so I figure I'd ask.
Anyways everything is working right now.

No big deal. If you find you like the freeware you may want to try the Pro version some day. :)
