I have a problem with my sonic scenarist and I don't know how to find my answer. I authored a project and it has motion menus and a movie . when I'm in the middle of a movie and I go back to main menu and from the menu I want to go to movie again, it plays from the begining and doesn't resume. I know it is about GPRM, SPRM, COMPER or ... but by reading the help I couldn't find my answer. I hope you'll help me.
and if there are toturials for scenarist how can I get them?

If you jump to the menu with a CallSS Command you have to specify the cell for resume.
e.g
1:CallSS RSM=14, RootMenu
Resume without specifying a cell for resume works only if you call the menu with the remote control.

I've used this command but again in the simulation window it does not work. the problem is
when you are watching a movie and you want to go to main menu after that when you are in the main menu
again you press the play movie to go to the resume point of the movie. in the simulation window it doesn,t
work and again the movie plays from the begining. so what should I do? if the dvd plays in a dvd player
and using remote control it goes to resume points?

give the movie PGC a pre command by assigning a value, something like Mov GPRMx, 1
create a dummy PGC with pre command:
1. if GPRMx=1, Rsm
2. Jump VTS_TT xx
Link the play movie button command to this dummy PGC.

I've got a question concerning the same issue. How does a DVD-Player behave if I turn it off, but don't eject the DVD and start it some time later? Does it automatically offer the resume option (option to push the resume button on the remote ctrl) or do I have to write some lines?

I dont unterstand your question. If the player stores the status (most of them does) resume is available, if not some lines cant help.

OK, let me explain it in more detail: when I insert a disk into my DVD player and watch the movie, then turn it off and later turn it on again, the DVD starts from the beginning again, but there is a button on the top right corner saying "resume". As long as this button is displayed I can press the "Resume"-button to resume the movie.
My question is: does the DVD player provide this option all by itself or are there commands behind this possibility to resume the DVD on restart? I hope you now get what I mean ;-)
