Hi all, I am using Autogk v2.20(Xvid 1.1beta2), mainly and heavily on Vob(DVD) => Xvid+mp3 .avi convertion, so far so good.

After observing for a period of time, I see that there is no more than v2.27 is released. I want to ask all of you for suggestion: Should I upgrade the Autogk to v2.27?

For my Vob(DVD) => Xvid+mp3 purpose, anything in v2.27 improved? I ask that because I found some of you said the audio convertion is a little buggy in the v2.27, something that about the newer lame version(or something else). Also, the Xvid 1.2 bundled is also uncertain for me.

Thanks for any advice.

The upgrade temptation?

Basically the new lame (3.97b2) introduced in the AGK 2.25 is trickier in VBR, not in CBR. For VBR I use 1 or 2 upper bitrate to get +- the desired bitrate; exemple I want 128 I try 144 to get something between 124 to 136...

Also, the Xvid 1.2 bundled is also uncertain for me.Terrific, run for it :)
Main problem seems the new DVD protections: Arccos etc... there are solutions though; been covered a lot, :search:
