Scenarist, DLT and Win XP 64

Hi, Recently rebuilt our author machine, EMT64, with Win XP 64 bit. Installed Scenarist 3.1, Adaptec 29160 SCSI card with an external DLT 8000 DLT drive. All works fine except Scenarist wont see the DLT drive. Windows see it, I can use windows backup, etc. I have tried installing the ASPI drivers, but doesnt make any difference. Everything else works great, if I could only get Scenarist to see the DLT drive. Maybe a registry edit or some sort of fix. Any ideas, except going back to Win XP 32 bit?

Just a wild guess but Scenarist really hates SATA disks and stuff. I guess you have some in your system, try setting the SATA chanels to legacy or compatible mode, that helped me back a while ago with this very same problem (on xp32 tough)

I tried that, no change. Tried updating the DLT drivers, firmware, SCS card drivers, ASPI layer drivers, etc. Any other suggestions?
