Offering $100 for Quicktime port of Huffyuv

I really need this done and I've searched but I have only found talk of people wanting it done dating back as far as 2004. I have a ton of HuffyUV videos which I need to be able to "export" in quicktime pro to various formats. However since Quicktime doesnt recoignize Huffyuv, I cant do this. Im offering $100 (via money order or paypal) to someone who can make this happen. Im completely serious and fully prepared to pay a person who can fufil this requirement. Im sure your all familiar with Huffyuv, but to those who arent heres a link. So if you can do this and want to make a fast $100, its yours!

you can do it via after effects (or similar editing/composing app, if you have one that is), like:

1. new composition, drop your huf there
2. export as uncompressed quicktime
3. open that file in quicktime player, choose your favorite compression and there you go.

Unfortunately I need a direct solution. If Im gonna pay out some money Id like to to be as easy as possible for me. Also IIRC 3vix isnt lossless, so that doesnt help much. Im essentially looking to make some Huffy videos into H.264 streaming for a server I own. Its easiest to do this via quicktime, and I already plunked 39.99 for QTPro (Thought there was gonna be more to it than what I got..). I appreciate the suggestion though!

Im trying to make the process as un complicated as possible. Id prefer to work with just Quicktime and the Huffy file itself. Thanks for the suggestion though. ;)

Ok, dont know if this is what you're looking for:

In the past i had some problems with quicktime pro recognizing some video formats, so i began a search for another tool.

Since i started using MPEG streamclip i havent looked back, dont even need the quicktime package installed, the real quicktime alternative will be enough, you can open a lot of of formats with that tool and export them to quicktime formats etc

Dot50Cal, you do know that you can do qt compatible files (kinda) using x264, dont you?

i made a bat script (and a total commander wrapper) for just that purpose, that is avi->mp4.

You can try Tateu's filter QTOutput that let you produce mov videos from avisynth (using virtualdub wich has batch encoding or other renderer of your choice)

You can also try to frameserve fake avi (rgb24 uncompressed) files from virtualdub. But i dont know if QTpro supports frameserving on input.
