I'm starting to learn mpeg-2 encoding and everything related to it.
I was wondering is there was some tool, avisynth plugin, etc that shows the blocks/macroblocks, maybe in a grid fashion, in the P or B frames and shows if they are intra coded or motion vector predicted and from which frames and blocks they come from for a given stream ?
I know this is rather specific, and don't expect to such tool/plugin exist, but nonetheless I ask.
It it were a plugin it should be logically inside for example Neuron2'dgdecode.dll.
Or some plugin that has access to the mpeg2 decoder information.
Or maybe some tool that mpeg2 compressor developers use to debug their compressors.
I don't know if I make myself clear. I hope so...
