hi gentleman! i'm doing a backup of a dvd manually, without any one click app, neither paid authoring software, but i'm stalled at this point: the original dvd has animated menus which sizes 500MB. so i want to recompress the menus, to enhance the video quality, but without loosing any buton function. i tried to demux the menus with pgcdemux, reencode it with cce (i thought dvd rebuilder did like that), and then pass in vobblanker but i'm losing the menu functions (actually these 500mb are on 3 cells of it only). thanks a lot!

Hi-

Will this guide help:

It was written for static menus, but works just as well for animated menus. I've followed it a bunch of times with success.

Or you could try Menu shrink (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&postid=643269) for extreeeem compression .
