I have a 3-audio tracked DVD all set in DVD-lab. This is an audio only DVD. I want to keep the still image from having potential screenburn problems during playback. You can see in the screenshot that the background and titles are all the same... this is an intentional part of the design.

Is there a way in DVD-lab to have text move along a path or the background fade similiar to a DVD-player's screensaver while the audio plays back?

Thanks for any tips. I'm also open to a software package that would help me generate a basic fading background / moving line of text MPG.

No, because the DVD spec only caters for showing video. So make yourself an mpg of your running text and use that as your video track.

Hiho,
I´ve read of a tool which converts Powerpoint to DVD (PPT2DVD or something simular)
-> so you can build your own PPT animation and convert it afterwards in regular DVD MPEG2 files! :)
