Click browse, browse to the directory where the dll file is (should be the same as the inf file) and hit ok.

What is the difference between version which i downloaded form original site? I fixed the INF file (install file) so that it works. :)

The codec itself is identical.

I noticed one strange thing about Cedocida.

When i select "force output format" and select YUY2, i cant load DV avi in Virtualdub and Virtualdub mod.

But i can load with avisynt.

For example, when try just to open dv avi file its sais error code -2.
But if i make this simple script:

avisource("C:\Documents and Settings\SomeDV.avi")

it load and everything is ok.

So i am intersting what can be problem?

I *guess* it is like this:

If you have VirtualDub *NOT* set for Fast Recompress or Direct Stream Copy, then VirtualDub requests the codec to output RGB, because that is needed for filtering and display. But if you configure the codec to force YUY2, then it ignores VirtualDub's request and VirtualDub gets mad and reports an error (version 1.6.15 has a better error popup). So either use Fast Recompress/Direct Stream Copy, or turn off Force YUY2.

But I don't know why it works when you use an Avisynth script that delivers YUY2. You should ask Avery Lee about that at his forum. I'd be interested to know the answer as well.

EDIT: I've asked him. :)
