Hi,
I'd like to kick Powerpoint out of the window and instead use a series of AVIs in high definition to power my presentations. Microsoft do a tool that does pretty much everything I want: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/forpros/VideoProd.aspx
Essentially it'll run WMVs in sequence, you can have them loop or not, you can press a button to skip to the next WMV in sequence.
The problem is that a) it's WMV, and I'd prefer to use visually lossless CineForm AVIs, and secondly b) it's written so badly it dies hideously on my laptop (2.0GHz Merom so hardly a lack of horsepower).
Is there a Media Player out there with a sufficiently powerful scripting/playlist function to do what I want? It's not much - just run AVIs in sequence, use a button to skip, have AVIs loop - or not.
