BlockBuster VS Deblock QED

Hello. I'm doing a TV Rip. There are blocks in the picture, most in high moving parts of the video. Because I'm kind of new to avisynth filtering I really don't have experiance with some filters. I have downloaded Blockbuster and found a script of Deblock Qed and i was wondering which should I use. I need help with the filter paramaters. Some help please.

Against those blocks I don't think blockbuster is the great solution (it's a great filter in combination with x264 because it's function is to add noise to low detail areas (from what i looked into it at least)). So for an actual deblocker QED is ok but veery weak usually (you may play with the parameters, maybe you can get something more out of it). From what you say you need more likely something like Deblock (my recommandation), or funkydeblock, and all other derivations of the the only 2 actual debloackers I know (Deblock and the deblocking in dgdecode/mpeg2dec).

They are two completely different filters. Blockbuster uses noise, sharpening or smoothing ir order to make the encoder "more aware" of details so that it spends more bitrate in them, thus preventing blocking on the encode. DeBlock_QED, on the other hand, eliminates blocking that's already present on the source.
