View Full Version : ImgBrn Not Auto-Running After Shrink

I'm using DVD Shrink w/ option to automatically go to ImgBrn and burn the ISO.

ImgBrn is opening after Shrink completes but is not making the burn. I have to click on it to start it.

Isn't it supposed to make the burn without further user input?

Any ideas why it might not be doing so?

I was using the last version. I think it was 1.2. I just upgraded to the new version, I think it's 1.3. I haven't tried it with 1.3 yet.

Hmm, I just tried to burn a dvd twice with ImgBrn 1.3.0.0 straight from Shrink and not only did it not autoburn, I can't manually start it. I checked the version of ImgBrn and it was 1.2.0.0. That's weird because I just downloaded 1.3 earlier. I closed it and reopened ImgBrn from my desktop icon and 1.3.0.0 opened.

It still won't burn the Shrinked ISO. It says Disk not empty.

This ISO differs from one I made and burned successfully last night in that I changed the Extras from Custom Ratio with maximum compression to Still Images and I changed from default Sharp to Max Sharpness.

Also, when I reran Shrink on the rip (which had been previously run through VobBlanker and MenuShrink) with the Still Pictures and Max Sharpness, Shrink encoded it but did not do a Deep Analysis. Is that normal? I thought it was going to reanalyse it.

Next step: I erased the disk with Roxio 6 Disk Creator. It incorrectly said the disk was already blank but I ran Quick Erase on it anyway. It was done in a few seconds.

ImgBrn is working on the ISO now. Will see how it comes out pretty shortly.

Tom, I've always had to click on the green button to make it work, but I never burn from DVD Shrink and could be mistaken.

And as you have found out, you need to do a format before ImgBurn (www.imgburn.com) will write on an RW. ImgBurn has its own formatting routines in its Tools menu.
