Hi everybody,
I have a problem with capturing from analog source.
My analog camera is connected to IN-plug of Gainward 4200Ti VIVO card. I capture directly to MPEG2, MPEG1, DV, huffyuv or uncompressed and... here goes the problem...
The movie is not so smooth as original (played directly from camera on the TV set).
The frames are not being lost,
The output movie seems to be interlaced (the stripes on pc monitor),
I tried to encode the movie with lower and upper field - the same effect.
Please help me to solve this problem,
I authored the sample movie and... always the same - is not so smooth as original. It looks like without interlace (only 25 frames instead of 50 interlaced). This card uses Philips 7108 chip... Maybe this chip doesn't support 50 fps interlaced?
Thanx in advance for reply. This is very important for me, I am afraid to lost my home movies forever :(
Peter
