Hi!
What software and procedures are you using to create the DVD "package" and to burn to DVD?

If you respond to my initial post, it might be possible to help you resolve your problem.
So again I'll ask you, what software and procedures are you using to create the DVD "package" and to burn to DVD?

That's because you don't know where to look, just yet. :)
It helps once you become familiar with the terminology. Moving your footage from the cam to the hard drive is called "capture". Stringing separate "clips" of captured footage together, adding transitions, special effects, etc., is called "editing". Adding menus, motion graphics (such as fly-in intro's). etc., is called "authoring". And, as you know, moving your captured/edited/authored files to the burner is called "burning". There are entire fora devoted to each of these disciplines here at Doom9.
Don't worry about autoplay just yet; go to setarip's advice and tell us about your hardware and software procedures. Give us the make and model of your cam, the software you're using to capture, the video editor software you're using, and finally, the burning software. Throw in anything else you can think of, but this will give us something to work with. Be specific in your details; there is no such thing as "too much information".
If your cam came bundled with OEM software, be sure to tell us, but truthfully, if you have bundled software, the place to start is in your software's embedded help files. Get in there and hammer on it. You may be simply attempting to move an entire tape/disc to the hard drive and then converting this to DVD (MPEG-2 format); if this is the case, just say so. We all have to start somewhere.
There's also the possibility that the media you're using isn't compatible with your standalone player. Use this link to check for media that others are using for your specific standalone model. Standalone/media compatiblilty database (]www.dvdrhelp.com/dvdplayers)

Thank you for respecting our rules; they're designed to protect the integrity and, at the most extreme end, the very life of the Forum.
As in any hardware/software issue, the search button should always be your first, and best, option. Be sure to come back when you have a question we can handle.
