Hello, i have a noise DV.
This is the jpg images:
frame1a.jpg is original image from DV

frame1b.jpg is blend screen image from DV

degrainmedian can clean up very well.
For exapmle try this parametars:

degrainmedian(limitY=5,limitUV=7,mode=0)

Anyway, for extreme noise fft3dfilter can help a lot, and then you'll want something like HDR to bring out whatever color there is (unless the heavy sepia tone is intentional).

eDeen is a very strong noise filter you could try if nothing else helps. Be careful with it though, too low lowratios or too high radius/thresh and there will be nothing more left of your video than a blur.

A short uncompressed clip would be a lot more usefull then screenshots. Having said that, this (http://img205.imageshack.us/img205/1695/denoiseexample3zw.png) is what I was able to get using just spacial filters.
