Hello :)

I noticed that the mixing of a .mp4 file and the last Nero aac(2pass enconding) with m2d mpmuxer were a problem for the players MPC and VLC (playing quickly).
Whereas NERO SHOW TIME play it perfectly.

Can i have confirmation.
:thanks:

what the hell is "m2d mpmuxer"? are you sure that its supposed to output correct mp4 files?

Hello bond,

You are right, it is true:
"m2d mpmuxer" is not "m2d mp4muxer".But "I" think that you noticed it.
In truth, it is Mp4muxer.

I remind to you that I have always to use this software, and it always functioned perfectly.

But when I mixed 2 files (A/V)
a .mp4 file and the last Nero aac(2pass enconding)
VLC and MPC play the video more quickly than the audio.

And yet (I confirm) Nero play it without problem.

If you doubts of me, PLEASE do a fast test and I would understand that the problem come from me.

See you soon.

Mario.

can you link to "mp4muxer"?

also make sure that your video has the correct framerate

Another test:

Film: the rage of the tiger
16/9 - 720*576 - 25 Fs - PAL - AC3 2/0 192 (-112ms)

After checking, here is my report:

I don't know where can come the problem.
The coder of Nero / the mp4 file ( x264 V.532A) or VLC / MPC?
To check!!!!

I know:
1. VDM (mux avs / audio file/mp3): OK
2. VDM (mux avs / audio file/wav): OK
3. MP4MUXER (mux mp4 file / Latest Nero aac audio 2pass): OK

1 & 2: Playing OK (VLC/MPC/NERO SHOW TIME 2)
3: Playing only on NERO SHOW TIME 2 ( true sychronization).

I would like to test another software of multiplexing to prove it.
Thank you to advise me.

Bye.

NOTE:
MP4muxer (mpeg4iptools + mp4box + mp4muxer + GPAC_Framework + Net framework 1.1 )

guada 2> Try it with YAMB (it is an MP4Box GUI). Also it would be useful if you could post here what MediaInfo says about your MP4 file.

Also I don't fully understand how you compressed your MP4. AFAIK Nero output is MP4, so what are you using mp4box for?

I have also experienced the 'too fast playback' problem once on a video file with AAC audio. It occurs only when an AAC decoder is used that is based on libfaad2. Using a different AAC decoder (realaac in ffdshow) solved it for me.

Hello :)
Thank you to all for your assistance.

After 2 days of research and constant tests, I noted:
Mp4box is out of cause, Net framework 1.1 idem, Mp4muxer too.

Ultimately it is mpegiptools which still had an update.

NOTE:
It is not always obvious to find the problems.
But those which really want it can find them.

Bye.

Mario.
