I was making backups of some of my DvD's and some of them seem like they are hanging up. I used DvDfab decrypter then I use the current build of DvD shrink. My dvd burner is a DVD+ drive and I just purchased a new DvD player that is DVD+ compatable. Any suggestions as to what could be causing this problem? When I play them back off my harddrive they play just fine.

Hi!seem like they are hanging upDo they exhibit very short delays or do they stop?
Do the burned DVDs exhibit this behavior on both your standalone DVD player and your PC, or only one or the other?
It could be the result of using poor quality media and/or burning at too high a rate...

Its doing it on my pc and dvd player. I swithced from imation to memorex and have slowed the burning speed. Seems to be helping some. Would alot of compression also cause this?

I swithced from imation to memorex and have slowed the burning speed.I'd suggest you try still higher quality media (e.g. T-Y, Verbatim, Maxell).
No, the amount of compression should not cause delays.
Would you please be good enough to answer my earlier question? - Do they exhibit very short delays or do they stop?

They stop during playback.Seems to be helping some. Why do you say "helping some"?
Do they no longer stop during playback?
Is there anything wrong with the playback of your new, slower burned, higher quality DVDs?
