x264 To DVD

Cany anyone help me out on whats the best way to
convert two rugby matches i have in x264 so i can
stick em on a DVD.


Cheers i hope someone can help me out nothing i have
will take the mp4 files.

You will probably have to convert to avi and burn that file, but h264 in avi can lead to problems...

Here is a FREE way to do it (this is how I do it):

1. Create your avisynth script
directshowsource("video.mp4")
#resize picture if needed
#resample audio if needed
converttoyv12()

2. Encode with QuEnc
2b. Add pulldown tags with DGpulldown if necessary

3. Author the DVD with DVD Styler, export to ISO

4. Test your DVD image with Daemon Tools (or similar, prevents you from making coasters :) )

5. If all is well, burn the image with ImgBurn

With avisynth installed... can avisynth scripts be loaded by ANY encoder?

SUPER can convert x264 to mpeg2, tested it myself a couple of days ago
