Tried hard, but i need your help!!!

I've a movie saved in a file with an extension:

'name'.divx

English audio, English dialogs and Greek Subtitles. My purpose is to, finally, convert that stuff, to a DVD format (.VOB) and watch my movie on my desktop DVD player, seating in front of my TV.

My best effort was to produce a movie without subtitles.

Is anybody so kind, to show me the exact steps-programs to succeed my target?

Hi!

1) When you created the DivX-compressed .AVI, did you make the subtitles a permanent part of the .AVI, or is it a separate file?

2) What software and procedures are you using to convert to DVD-compliant format?
