Hi,
I’m thinking of baying the Sony DCR-SR90E. It records Mpeg2 on hard disk.
I was wondering if there is a program of expansion for Premiere Pro. Who will enable editing Mpeg2 files with out re-encoding the whole video. Only parts that will need re-encoding are the parts where you inserted transitions of effects. When rendering a DV video edit, only transitions are re-encoded. I hope this will all so be possible with Mpeg2.
Does anyone know if this is possible and if yes, how this technique is called?
