Subtitle bug in MPC 6.4.8.8+

I just found out that when I load external (.srt) subtitles while watching the DVD movie, subs are not synchronized with video - when I jump forward in the movie, the subtitles stay at the same point where the video was before the jump. I also noticed that starting from this MPC revision, the builtin MPEG-2 video decoder filter's got its own properties page, before this version it was greyed out.

I tried to change the options in MPEG-2 filter properties ("always display forced subtitles" etc), but it hasnt changed anything. Is there a solution to this problem? Thanks in advance!

Like I said, 6.4.8.8+. This means, this bug present in all MPC revisions starting from this version, this incluides 6.4.9.0.

Did you try luck with any of the Celtic Druid builds?

I havent tried Celtic Druid builds yet, but I have found out some very strange details about this bug. Subtitles work 100% correct if I open VOB file or vobset IFO file (like VIDEO_TS\VTS_04_0.IFO) directly. But if I use File - Open DVD or open root VIDEO_TS.IFO, and then navigate through the DVD menu to start the movie - I experience desynchronizing. BTW - subtitles also FLICKER all the time during the playback when I use the latest version 6.4.9.0, but not in previous revisons.

That doesn't happen here with the latest celtic build, I just watched a subtitled DVD movie 7 hours ago.

I tried Celtic Druid builds, they dont have this bug. Thanks.
