Which part did you not understand? What is it that you are trying to do? Do you really have a very noisy source?

If you are trying to use that function and is running into some sort of error, or it is not working the way you want, try bumping that thread with a detailed description of your problem. But before that, make sure you have read and understood the usage of parameters as described by Manao in that thread.
