Convert 4:2:2 to 4:2:0 - possible ? [Archive]

Hello,

It's possible to convert TS or MPG file (4:2:2 to 4:2:0) with any software? I have many concerts with 4:2:2 record from satelite.

Sure it's possible, but it requires re-encoding, which reduces the quality.

The simple AviSynth command ConvertToYV12() should do the trick.
