Apps for toolbox

Hey Guys, I was curious as to what everybody was using. I read and it seems everybody has a different method and a different tool to use. So if I was to through a good toolbox of apps together what should I put in the tool box? -I hope this makes sense. Thx for any info

Welcome to doom9.

We use what works for us individually ROBSCIX.

The ones that I see around most are:

Freeware:
DVD Decrypter
DVD Fab Decrypter
PSL2 plugin (uses DVD Decrypter and PgcEdit)
DVD43 (this has had some problems in the past)

Payware:
AnyDVD
Magic DVD Ripper/Copier
DVD95Copy
DVD Region Free

I'm sure others will have their faves.

Hi!

Is the "toolbox" you want to establish going to be limited to making DVD copies of DVDs - or are you also interested in converting to other formats, such as DivX, XviD. .MP4, etc.?

I use almost all the freeware apps you listed. My PC doubles as my entertainment system so I am into all formats that can entertain. Let's just stick to the DVD apps usually needed. Thx for the info guys fast responses. I guess I would like some of the other format tools becasue I have a Video input card, so I can record in various formats, so conversions are probably needed from time to time.
