I downloaded a video and it has soft subs. It is in an MKV container. What i want to do is keep the subtitles but encode it to mpeg-2. If at all is there a script that i can make with avisynth to do this? If not what other way can i use? thanks for all of your help.

Sorry buddy your gonna be busted by the iron fist now because you said you downloaded it. Don't worry I was slammed and I didn't even say I downloaded. They assumed.

@hddvd--It's amazing that you've been a member since November of 2004 and still don't realize that it's against Forum rules to post on downloaded videos.
@Drifterz--Using this thread to whine about a previous issue where you feel you've been mistreated is against the rules, too. If you've got a problem with the "iron fist" of the Moderation team (or in your case, a concerned senior member) you can take it up with Doom9.
