Hello All,

I recently rented a movie from Blockbuster and tried burning it as I've successfully done before with other movies, using DVD Shrink and Decyrpter. Now, when I tried playing this burnt movie on my DVD player, at the point when the movie started, a small "Camera" icon appeared on the screen and I could not take this off. I then tried burning another Rented DVD and encountered the same problem. This led me to believe that the DVDs you rent from say Blockbuster had some kind of special block on it. Is there any solution for this? How can I burn movies that I rent from a video/dvd store such as Blockbuster.

Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks
Ackstar

Please read the rules re: rule #6

The camera icon was your clue that Blockbuster is renting out illegal cam caps. I'd immediately complain to the management at your nearest Blockbuster store and tell them that when you tried to copy their movie, you discovered that they're being bilked out of the dollars they spent for the license to rent this title.

...or, you could read the rules, as check suggested, and maybe take a spin through the Announcement atop the noobs homepage.
