Ok, first I'm a super noob. I need mpeg1's for certain delivery of my video's within the legal industry. I shoot direct to harddrive (mpeg2) since most video is DVD delivery. When I need mpeg1, I rip with Decrypter, reencode the audio in Vegas, drop into TMPG xpress and get my mpeg1. This is where I get stuck.....I put on CD or DVD, plays fine in computer, but not any set-top......what am I doing wrong. I'm using Nero 6.something full version to put on disc.
Also, is it possible for the mpeg1 put on a CD to play in a set-top or is that not possible.

You have to make a VCD and have a player that plays VCDs.

Otherwise you can author a DVD with MPEG1.
